Qvale Auto Group Purchases Silicon Valley Auto Group
When many automotive dealers are downsizing, The Qvale family is adding to its investment in the luxury car market.
SILICON VALLEY, CA (December 17, 2009) – Qvale Auto Group announced today that the company has purchased Silicon Valley Auto Group and its franchises, which include Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Lotus, and Rolls Royce.
Ownership will officially change hands on December 17, 2009. The name of the dealership will become Los Gatos Luxury Cars; and its six luxury franchises will remain at the shared locations in Los Gatos—66 East Main Street and 620 Blossom Hill Road. The Blossom Hill Road address will focus largely on service.
“The Qvale Auto Group sees an opportunity to expand in an industry where many are cutting back,” Said Jeff Qvale, President. “We will use our 60 year San Francisco Bay Area history, modern internet strategy, and focused events to boost sales and service for luxury car buyers.”
“We feel that the luxury automotive market is starting to rebound,” says Kjell Qvale, Chairman of QAG.“ With our experience in luxury and exotic automotive sales, I feel we are well equipped to deal with fluctuations in the market. We see the downturn as an opportunity.”
By having locations in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, The Qvales will provide additional sales and service opportunities for their clientele. Los Gatos Luxury Cars is a convenient location for luxury car and exotic car enthusiasts from San Jose, Silicon Valley, East Bay, the Central Valley and the Monterey Peninsula.

Mr. Kjell Qvale entered the car business in 1946 and remains Board Chairman and Principal Shareholder of the company.
